Refresher Course
We offer a refresher driving course for those who want to have an evaluation and coaching session from a DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency) registered driving instructor. We help a wide range of people who need a refresher driving course, including:
- Those who have been driving for many years, and feel they would really benefit from a bespoke, refresher course to further help them become safer drivers and iron out any bad habits.
- Those who have not driven for a long while, and feel a refresher course will give them a confidence boost to once again, get behind the wheel.
- Those who have not driven in the UK for a while, following living abroad, and want to invest time in getting back up to speed with driving in the UK.

What We Cover
- Forward planning and observation – Helping you to observe more effectively, so your not simply “reacting” to hazards but seeing them and planning.
- Dealing with busy roads – Restoring your ability and confidence in dealing with todays busy traffic on a range of roads.
- Understanding other road users – How to develop a driving plan, which places focus on anticipating actions of other road users.
- Dealing with a range of roads – How you can adapt your driving quickly and safely on a range of roads including rural roads, motorways and busy urban roads.
- Dealing with adverse weather – How to improve your car control and powers of observation to remain safe in rain, icy weather and other adverse weather, which is common in the UK.
- How to approach and confidently deal with busy roundabouts, with multiple exits and lanes.
- Develop a more detailed understanding of rules of the road, and various road signs.
- How to cope with and defuse road rage (closely related to point 3).
- How to safely perform maneuvers.
- For an expert to provide a fair and accurate assessment of your driving.
